About The Area

Ca’n Armat is located in the precise centre of Ibiza, in the quiet and fertile Lorna Valley. It is close to the renowned restaurant village of Santa Gertrudis, and to the best beaches to the north and east of the island. Being so centrally located, everywhere is easy to get to.

Nearest Beaches

The finca is just a short drive to half a dozen of Ibiza’s best beaches...

Our closest beach is the famous Cala Benirras, with the “Queen Victoria” rock. It’s a beautiful 12-minute drive way. Other favourite beaches are Aguas Blancas, Cala San Vincente, and Cala Llenya, all within 20 minutes. Ibiza is so small we check the wind forecast and then head to the calmest waters

Places to Eat & Drink

The finca is in the centre of Ibiza country restaurant territory, with the famous La Paloma (named by Vogue UK at the premier Ibiza country restaurant) only 2km away, as well others such as Can Balafia and Can Muson. The pretty village of Santa Gertrudis is a 10-minute drive to the west, with famous restaurants such as Macao and La Plaza, as well as a host of others. There is almost too much choice, and the problem is always deciding which one to visit.

"We have now stayed at this finca three times, twice in high summer and once in the spring. Situated towards the north in the centre of the island it is in a great position to get to the smaller beaches and little towns but still a quick drive into the airport. We have been with a large group of adults and teenagers and it worked well for all of us with lots of separate places in the magical garden for people to position themselves and not get on top of each other.
There is a real kitchen for cooking and excellent utensils, the beds and linen are comfortable, the pool though small is a delightful place with a large chill out mattress which some teenagers crashed out on all night and others occupied for long siestas. You do need to ferry people in and out as it is down a long track from the road and the town is a few kilometres away but we never had a problem.
It is not a house if you are looking for bright white rooms, Astroturf grass and plasma screen TV's. It is lovely if you like fig, lemon and orange trees, cooking for fun and eating in a candlelit garden, visiting small bars and beach cafes, and want to spend time in your house rather than always be out"

FABULOUS, CHARACTERFUL, BLISS!
"We booked this property for a family holiday and had a really fabulous time. We loved the pictures when booking and found the place itself to be even better. The value is brilliant. We completely appreciated the amount of space we had - we were three strands of family and we all had space to be together and also to enjoy down time. We also loved eating at the different dining tables around the extensive garden, basically to follow or hide from the sun. The fina itself is historic and full of character - just my style. I dislike intensely modern sterile upgrading of properties that have no character. The locations is great for all the interesting villages of the north. We also adored the pool and really made the most of the opportunity. I was worried the pool might not be big enough but it was tremendous. We stayed two weeks and would love to go back again. I highly recommend Finca C'an Armat"

BEAUTIFUL FINCA FULL OF CHARACTER AND CHARM
"We had a wonderful stay at Ca'n Armat - we love Santa Gertrudis which is the nearby town and is full of great restaurants and boutiques. The finca is tastefully decorated and the pool area is just fabulous. There are small tables dotted around the gardens so a large group could easily get privacy. We had a couple of minor blips which were sorted by the agent in Ibiza within the day. Very good communication from the owners before the holiday and excellent help from the agent on Ibiza. Just lovely."

A stunning Garden!

We found your mature garden stunning. We never got bored of the little walk to the pool, surrounded by all the cacti. The pool was a perfect temperature and so comfortable to be there all day with the multitude of loungers and that lovely day bed in the shade. The garden lighting system you have there is amazing!

I also loved how many little places to sit around the garden there were. We could follow the shade or sun all day and always find another table and chairs there. We would highly recommend Ca'n Armat to anyone. We prefer that more rustic style of villa, where we spend all day making delicious food Some of the properties available to rent in Ibiza are more "Love Island" in character. That's not us!

A Heavenly Week!

Thank you Paul (and Robin) for the most heavenly week. We fell in love with your magical home, leaving was the hardest part of the week.

It was the perfect retreat for us, our friends and wild children. An ideal location near town but down a gorgeous bumpy road which allowed an ideal blend of sociability and solitude. The finca is satisfyingly authentic and feels like arriving in an old friends much loved home. The exteriors are draped in bougainvillaea with places to lounge all over the garden in shady corners and lots of places to hide from the children with a book and glass of wine! In the bedrooms things are simple, with whitewashed walls and wicker baskets. The AC was wonderful on hot afternoons, though we found ourselves not needing it most days as the house does such a wonderful job of self cooling. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one might need and the very chic dining room was gratefully taken over for a reluctant bit of remote work. In short this finca is very special. I’m almost reluctant to give a review as I don't want to many people to discover it!

We look forward to coming back for years to come. Thank you thank you thank you! x
